Just a couple thoughts rattling around my head this lazy Sunday.

As we watch the media swarm all over Anna Nicole Smith I found a statement that hit home with me -

The media frenzy drives ratings and ratings drive profits. Truth is too often too boring.....Lin Wood

Link to article by Attorney Lin Wood on the subject of "media frenzies". Very interesting read.

It is all about the money in the end. It doesn't matter whose lives we destroy as long as the ratings soar and the corporation coffers overflow.

There was a Yahoo! Answers question recently where someone asked who watched Fox and who watched CNN. It was interesting to see how both sides were adamant the other side had an agenda. And, of course they do. It is extremely hard to find places to find unbiased, accurate, un-spun news anymore. I answered the question that one had to watch both, evaluate the spin and do further research before making a decision.

Speaking of Yahoo Answers, Clay Aiken has a Question as Ambassador of Unicef -
What can we do to get more Americans committed to supporting programs that help children?

Take a look, there are lots of interesting responses and a few days left to post your own answer.

Don't forget to catch Clay on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Valentine's Day, February 14th.

Wow, this version of UM is one I don't think I've ever heard before. Mind if I stay here a little longer?

"The truth is too often too boring"... yes, a very prolific quote from Lin Wood.
